Allendale Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Corps Looking For Volunteers
The Allendale Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Corps are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in joining either organization you can contact the Allendale Fire Department at (201) 934-7015. The information for the Allendale Ambulance Corps will be forwarded to the appropriate person.

September 11th Candlelight Ceremony
The public is invited to attend a candlelight ceremony in recognition of the ninth anniversary of the World Trade Center tragedy. It will be held on September 11th at 7 p.m. at the memorial near the upper pond at Crestwood Park. Everyone is asked to bring a candle.
Important Information from the Water Department.
The water emergency remains in effect. However, effective immediately the Borough will go to an odd/even watering schedule. In-ground lawn sprinklers will be permitted from midnight to 4AM. Hose-supplied lawn sprinklers are permitted between 7PM and 9:30PM. Even numbered homes may water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Odd numbered homes may water on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. No watering is permitted on Monday. Hand held watering of gardens and shrubs is permitted any time.
Crestwood Lake Hours For September
Crestwood hours for September 1st through 3rd will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is due to the early opening of school which has resulted in lifeguards not being available.
