ANNOUNCING ALLENDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT’S 2024-2025 KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION AND REGISTRATION

Kindergarten Orientation for parents of children entering kindergarten at Hillside School in September 2024 will be held in person on Wednesday, January 31, at  7:00 PM in the All-Purpose Room. This program is designed to give parents an overview of the kindergarten program and curriculum. In addition, parents will tour our school building and meet some key staff members with whom your future kindergartener will interact. 

Children may be enrolled in our kindergarten program if they are five years of age by October 1 of the year they are enrolling in school. For next year’s kindergarten cohort, children must be five years of age by October 1, 2024, to attend. Children must reside in Allendale, New Jersey, to attend Hillside School. We require children to have records of a physical exam dated after January 1, 2024, and all immunizations must be up-to-date as required by the State of New Jersey.

To register your child, starting on February 1, log in to the school website, www.allendalek8.com, and click on the Kindergarten Registration link, which can be found at the top of the homepage. Follow the procedural directions and complete the registration forms as instructed. The snow date for kindergarten orientation will be Thursday, February 1, at 7:00 PM.
