Closure of Chestnut Street to Thru Traffic: 7am-3pm on Saturday 01/28/23

Waldwick Public Works is replacing a water valve on Hopper Avenue in Waldwick on Saturday 01/28/23, necessitating the closure of Chestnut Street to thru traffic.

Chestnut Street will be closed at Franklin Turnpike from approx. 7am-3pm on Saturday 01/28/23.

Local traffic which includes residents of Chestnut Street, Erold Court, and the Whitney Complex WILL be able to access their homes. For other motorists traveling the area, detours will be posted. Police traffic control will be on site to assist as needed.

Residents inside the closure can come and go as they please; use caution when driving and be alert for construction vehicles and/or police in roadway.
