EPS #6 Packing “styrofoam” – Densified and Recycled by Ridgewood DPW
- Clean, Dry, White Packing Foam Only (Please do not store your material outdoors)
- We cannot accept marked, soiled, wet or otherwise contaminated material
- Please remove labels and tape and check that coolers are empty
- NO Soft Foam – The correct material will snap when you bend it
- NO Food Contact Foam – NO Egg Cartons, No Cups or Plates
Paper Shredding – Service provided by Bergen County Utilities Authority
- PLEASE limit shredding to confidential and sensitive documents only
- NO books, magazines, newspapers, etc.
- REMOVE heavy metal clips and metal hanging folders
- It is NOT necessary to remove paper clips, staples or paperboard binder covers.

The Allendale Green Team is a volunteer group of citizens which reports to the Mayor and Council. Our mission is to advise the borough and educate the public on sustainable policies by identifying new opportunities through collaboration with our municipal government, local businesses and the citizens of our community. We meet the first Tuesday of every month, currently via Zoom meeting format.
