The Semiquincentennial, America's 250th Anniversary

On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond. 

Join us as our community comes together for a festive parade kicking off our Holiday Observers celebration at Crestwood. On September 19, 2026, the parade will step off ahead of the main event and conclude at Crestwood, where festivities officially begin at 1:00 PM. Community organizations and their members are invited to march—and to showcase their creativity and patriotism by designing a float!
