Veolia is providing notification that a temporary loss of pressure occurred in the Allendale System on April 24, 2025. Effective April 24, 2025, a Boil Water Advisory has been implemented for customers in Allendale until testing of the water supply is deemed satisfactory.
Working in conjunction with various federal law enforcement partners, the Allendale Police Department is investigating a small group of criminals which were in the borough on February 27, 2025. Law enforcement located occupied vehicles containing people who are suspected of or have a history of criminal involvement. At this point, the Allendale Police believe that the people intended on committing a burglary but were stopped by a robust law enforcement response. These criminals are suspected of being involved with a larger criminal enterprise committing house burglaries in the tri-state area.
