The Holiday Observers Fireworks scheduled for the evening of September 26 have been CANCELED. The rain date of Sunday has also been canceled. We are currently evaluating options and searching for an alternate date.

Due to anticipated inclement weather, Allendale Day has been rescheduled to October 3rd. 

The September 24, 2026 meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Allendale will be held in-person at the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, Allendale, New Jersey 07401. The Work Session will begin at 7:00 p.m., immediately followed by the Regular Session in the Council Chambers located on the second floor.  The Borough of Allendale will also livestream the Work and Regular Sessions.

Brown biodegradable lawn & leaf bags will be available for residents beginning Monday, September 28, while supplies last. Pick yours up at the DPW or Compost/Recycling Center during the hours listed above.

🍁 Curbside collection of BAGGED leaves begins the week of October 5, with alternating Westside and Eastside pickup weeks through early December.

Please remember: Leaves must be placed in brown biodegradable bags only for curbside collection.
