NOTICE TO BIDDERS

PUBLIC NOTICE

BOROUGH OF ALLENDALE

“2025 CRESTWOOD LAKE CONCESSION”

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Allendale, County of Bergen, State of New Jersey, on or before Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, in the Municipal Clerk’s Office in the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, Allendale, New Jersey 07401 for:

“2025 CRESTWOOD LAKE CONCESSION”

Specifications may be obtained in person Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Office of the Municipal Clerk within Allendale’s Municipal Building, 500 W. Crescent Ave Allendale, New Jersey 07401 commencing Wednesday, April 30, 2025, or electronically by submitting requests to lindacervino@allendalenj.gov.  Requests should include company name, address, phone number, email and contact person.

Each proposal must be submitted on forms provided by the Borough of Allendale and placed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the bidder, and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, “2025 CRESTWOOD LAKE CONCESSION RFP” or they will not be considered.

Questions or requests for explanations may only be submitted by contractors, and not subcontractors.  No questions will be answered by phone or any method other than by email set forth above.  The subject on all such emails must read, “Crestwood Lake Concession – Bidding RFI.”  In the body of any such email, each question must be numbered categorized according to professional discipline and must, if needed, refer back to specific items in the specification.

Bidders must enclose with their bid a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond for ten (10%) percent of the amount of their bid.  All bidders shall provide a statement which shall set forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation who own ten percent (10%) or more of its stock of any class, or of all individual partners in a partnership who own ten percent (10%) of greater interest therein. This information is required pursuant to Chapter 33, Public Law 1997, and cannot be waived or cured after the receipt of bids. Failure to comply will result in the REJECTION of the bid proposal.

The Borough of Allendale assumes no responsibility for bids returned by mail.

The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the Borough.  Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Mandatory Equal Employment Opportunity “N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27”.

The awarded bid will be a one (1) year term of proposed contract, with an option of the Borough of Allendale to extend for an additional one (1) year.
