The Borough of Allendale is taking a proactive, data-driven approach to improving traffic and pedestrian safety throughout our community. Our goal is to develop a long-term strategy that prioritizes safety, identifies needed improvements, and helps us plan for Allendale’s future.

The October 21, 2026 meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Allendale will be held in-person at the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, Allendale, New Jersey 07401. The Work Session will begin at 7:00 p.m., immediately followed by the Regular Session in the Council Chambers located on the second floor.  The Borough of Allendale will also livestream the Work and Regular Sessions.

Halloween Party at the Community Center on 10/29! 

The Borough of Allendale is pursuing the acquisition of 274 West Allendale Avenue, known as the Turner House property, with plans to transform it into a passive park that connects two existing recreational areas, with the aim of mitigating flooding, preserving valuable open space, and enhancing the community’s natural environment. NOTICE OF CHANGE OF MEETING DATE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Allendale originally scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

The meeting will be held at the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, Allendale, New Jersey. The Work Session will begin at 7:00 p.m., with the Regular Meeting to immediately follow the conclusion of the Work Session.

Formal action may be taken.
