BOROUGH OF ALLENDALE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOROUGH OF ALLENDALE (BOROUGH) WILL RECEIVE SEALED BIDS FOR THE PROJECT KNOWN AS

"EAST ALLENDALE AVENUE SEWER REHABILITATION”

Sealed Bids will be received at the offices of the Borough, located at the Borough of Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, Allendale New Jersey 07401 until Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 10:30 A.M, local prevailing time. Bids which have been received will be publicly opened and read.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and means to construct various improvements as depicted in the Contract Documents for the Project. The principal Items of Work, include but are not limited to:

Mobilization	1 Lump Sum
Maintenance & Protection of Traffic	1 Lump Sum
Restoration Clean-up and Demobilization	1 Lump Sum
Sewer Main Hydraulic Cleaning, 8” Sewer Main	3,845 LF
Sewer Main Heavy Cleaning, All Pipe Sizes, If and Where Directed	1,000 L.F.
Protruding Lateral Cutting, If and Where Directed	5 E.A.
Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining , 8” Sewer Main	3,845 L.F.
CCTV Warranty Inspection, Sewer Main (ALL SIZES)	1 Lump Sum
Sanitary Manhole Rehabilitation, Cementitious Lining	170 V.L.F.
Debris Disposal	5 Tons
Polypropylene Manhole Steps, If and Where Directed	50 Steps
Replacement of Manhole Frames & Covers With Flow Seal Frames and Covers	5 UNITS
Manhole Encapsulation Sleeve (If and Where Directed)	18 UNITS
Unforeseen Conditions Allowance	Allowance

Each Proposal must be submitted utilizing the forms contained within the Contract Documents. It must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his address and name of Project(s) for which the Bid is submitted. Materials to be contained within the sealed envelope are specified under "Instructions to Bidders." Bid Proposals shall be complete, in ink, and any Bids incomplete or not submitted in a sealed, specially addressed envelope may be considered informal.

Contract Documents can be reviewed online at no cost at www.bidset.com/vancleef. The Contract Documents may be obtained by any prospective bidder upon payment of a fee for each set of full-sized drawings with specifications by calling 1-877-424-3738 or by online request. Shipping charges are additional and variable depending upon the pick-up or delivery option selected by the purchaser. Bid documents cannot be obtained at the Owner’s or at the engineer’s, Van Cleef Engineering Associate’s, office. The printing costs not refundable.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Allendale, and shall be without condition or qualification.

All Bidders shall be required to comply with Chapter 127, P.L. 1975, c. 127, requiring each Bidder and each Subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State of New Jersey an Affirmative Action Program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all categories.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et. seq.) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq.

All bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. and the N.J.S.A. 34:1B-5.1, Chapter 150 Laws of 1963.

If the Bidder is a Corporation or a Partnership, the Bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his Bid, a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a 10 percent or greater interest in the firm.

The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so.
