PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that BCE NJ Solar Ten, LLC, (“BCE” or “Applicant”) filed an application with theBorough of Allendale Land Use Board (the “Board”) for use variance approval pursuant to NJSA 40:55D-70(d)(1) and preliminary and final major site plan approval to install commercial rooftop solar facilities on various industrial buildings within the Allendale Industrial Park. The Applicant is proposing to install rooftop solar panels atop 7 existing buildings, related ground equipment, and other related site improvements on the below-defined Property (the “Project”). The parcels which are the subject of this application are identified as 1 Pearl Court, 2 Pearl Court, 3 Pearl Court, 5 Pearl Court, 6 Pearl Court, 7 Pearl Court, and 59 Rte. 17 South in Allendale Borough, New Jersey. The Property is located in the E/ Industrial Zoning District and is designated on the Borough Tax Maps as Block 601; Lot(s) 4, 4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.04, 5 & 6 (collectively, the “Property”). Applicant is seeking the following variances, approvals and waivers for the Project:
Use variance approval
Variance for solar facility that is not accessory (i.e. supplying power) to the principal power use on the Property
If so required, use variance approval for the additional principal use on the Property
Preliminary and final major site plan approval
Such approvals, design waivers and variances from the requirements of the Borough of Allendale’szoning/ land use ordinance as may be deemed necessary or required by the Board at the hearing in this matter.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Borough of Allendale Land Use Board will meet at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in the Borough of Allendale Municipal Building, located at 500 West Crescent Avenue, 2nd Floor, Allendale, New Jersey 07401, at which time opportunity will be given to all those with interest to be heard and at which time the Board may approve, modify or deny the application. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person, or by their attorney, and be given the opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that copies of the application, plans and documents are on file in the Office of the Land Use Board, at the Borough of Allendale Municipal Building, located at 500 West Crescent Avenue, 2nd Floor, Allendale, New Jersey 07401. These documents are available for inspection during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This notice is given pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., and by the order of the Borough of Allendale Land Use Board.
