NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

“PROFESSIONAL TRAFFIC ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR A COMPREHENSIVE BOROUGH-WIDE TRAFFIC AND SAFETY STUDY”

The Borough of Allendale is soliciting proposals through the Fair and Open Process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq.  The Borough of Allendale will consider proposals only from individuals or firms that have demonstrated the capacity and willingness to provide high-quality services in the manner described in this Request for Proposal.

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals must be submitted to the Borough Administrator, Alison Altano, either in person in the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, Allendale, New Jersey 07401 or via e-mail at alisonaltano@allendalenj.gov until Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

 Proposals should be submitted clearly marked, “PROFESSIONAL TRAFFIC ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR A COMPREHENSIVE BOROUGH-WIDE TRAFFIC AND SAFETY STUDY”.

 Proposals shall be opened on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (local time).  Request For Proposals (RFP) are to be delivered in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Professional Services for which the Proposal is being submitted. Faxed Proposals will not be accepted.

Respondents must include their name and address on the outside of the envelope. Proposals prepared on forms other than those provided in the RFP may be rejected. Proposals received after the date and time set forth herein, regardless of cause of delay, will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

The RFP document may be obtained from the Borough Clerk’s Office at the Borough of Allendale at the above address during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4 PM. In order to assure that any Addendum or responses to written questions are sent to the appropriate requestors, please advise the Municipal Clerk which Professional Services the individual/firm is seeking a copy of the RFP.

The Borough has structured this procurement as a fair and open process to assure that all Respondents are provided an opportunity to submit Proposals and be considered for selection based on the evaluation stated in this document.

Respondents are required to comply with the affirmative action and non-discrimination provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.

The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Proposals received and to reject any and all Proposals pursuant to applicable law.
